Modified Retained Search (Contained Search)
In some instances the nature and level of the search assignment falls between the more standard retained & contingency arrangements and we strive to offer a middle ground.
Retained SearchThe most inclusive search process for more complex, higher level or national searches. Typically relocation is part of the process and a comprehensive nationwide search is undertaken.
Jay Tracey founded the firm in 1988. Since then he has focused on recruiting senior management professionals in technical sales/marketing and engineering. He previously had years of experience in automation & controls, drives, web handling, converting, electronics and the power industry. He worked for General Electric in application engineering and sales, then joined a venture capital-funded technology company marketing two patented inventions for the paper industry. Later, Jay managed a technical sales force for an international systems integrator selling hardware and control solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Jay holds a BSME degree.
Mark Auriema joined the firm in 1994 with more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing of industrial instrumentation & control systems in international and domestic markets. He managed a network of independent distributors & VAR’s, and led a sales force selling to OEM’s and larger end users in the Automation & Electronics industry. He also has extensive experience with rep and distributor networks in the U.S. and abroad. Mark holds a BA in Marketing/Economics from the University of Vermont. He specializes in recruiting talent for positions in technical sales and general management.
